Here are some pictures of our visit on May 4, 2006 to the archive in Zaparoszhe.  Zaparoszhe (formerly Alexandrovsk) was the nearest large town to Khortitsia, the village on the Dneiper River where Isaac and Esther Dolginover moved (with children Motke & Fanny?) in the 1890's and where subsequent children, including my father Joseph, were born.  In response to Marc's request made weeks in advance, the local archivists had combed the surviving records (synagogue and civil) for references to our family and had this waiting for us on our visit
